The large crew of HortoBike have been working since spring 2019 to successfully implement the project GINOP-7.1.9-17-2018-00033. There are cycling sport and tourism experts as well as marketing and communication professionals, architects, IT specialists, lawyers and volunteers in our team, who have dedicated all their knowledge and enthusiasm to the success.

Project summary
The HortoBike project was implemented in the priority tourist development area of Debrecen, Hajdúszoboszló, Hortobágy and Lake Tisza. Its goal is to implement cycling developments in the region - based on the cycling tourism of Lake Tisza - that encourage cyclists to explore additional destinations in the priority development area with their bicycles.

Project support
The project was established by a consortium led by the Hungarian Cycling Federation with the participation of the Hungarian Tourism Agency LLC and the Hungarian Tourism Association Foundation, with the support of Széchenyi 2020 development plan, the Government of Hungary and the EU European Regional Development Fund.
